With the other goalkeepers for Bayern, Sven Ulreich and Daniel Peretz, as well as the team's outfield players, Neuer participated in a goalkeeping practise.

Neuer fractured his leg in December after helping Bayern win the Champions League in 2013 and 2020. Complications with his rehabilitation had caused a delay in his homecoming.

The 2014 World Cup champion, who led Germany as captain until his injury, hopes to participate in the Euros, which will be held on German soil, in 2017.
