Leipzig stated that Spain's Olmo will miss "a few games" and Hungary's Orban "will be out for ten weeks."
Both attacker Dani Olmo and captain Willi Orban will be sidelined for a number of weeks by knee injuries sustained while serving their countries, the Bundesliga club said on Tuesday.
The German Cup champions stated that Spain attacker Olmo will miss "a few games" and Hungary defence Orban "will be out for ten weeks."
Olmo underwent testing to determine the extent of the injury to his right knee after his return from service in Spain earlier in the week.
The attacker has been in outstanding form for Leipzig this season, scoring five goals and providing one assist in four competitive games since June, when he extended his contract with the club until 2027.
Orban's right knee was hurt as well.
Next Tuesday in the Champions League, Leipzig will travel to take on Swiss team Young Boys Bern after hosting Augsburg this coming Saturday.
