Anant Jeet Singh Naruka, 25, earned a silver medal in the men's skeet competition at the Asian Games on September 27 as India continued to amass shooting medals. Anant Jeet placed second in the final with 58 points, two points behind Kuwaiti gold champion and 60-year-old Olympic medallist Abdullah Alrashidi, who also tied the world record with 60 points.


Anant Jeet Singh placed second on the podium to earn his first individual medal in a significant multisport competition. The men's skeet team of Anand, Angad Vir Singh Bajwa, and Khangura Gurjoat Siingh won the bronze medal, giving him two medals on the day in Hangzhou.

In his first 10 series of the final, Anant Jeet Singh had a perfect run, and in his final five series, he only missed two shots. Abdullah Alrashidi was under constant pressure from Anant, but in the end, the bronze medallist from the Tokyo Olympics had to settle for second place.
