India almost misses out on the bronze medal in the mixed 10m air rifle competition.

In the second bronze-medal match, India jumped out to an early lead because to greater scores in the first four sets.

Shortly
  • the 10m mixed air rifle, Divyansh Panwar and Ramita Jindal almost missed winning a bronze medal.
  • After a competition in which both teams made breathtaking efforts, South Korea took home the medal.
  • In the following series, Korea made an incredible comeback to defeat the Indians 20-18.

The Indian mixed 10m air rifle team, which included Divyansh Singh Panwar and Ramita, almost missed the podium by dropping out of the bronze medal match with a score of 18-20.

India jumped out to an early lead in the competition by recording greater scores in the first four series. Korea opened its account with a 10.9 from Park Hajun, bringing the score to 8-0.

The teams drew the ensuing series, and after India had a 9-3 lead, Korea appeared to have found fresh life as it pulled even.

India increased its lead until it was 15-11 and needed just one more point to win (Korea: 20.7, India: 21.2). The match was, however, far from done.

Prior to squaring the scores at 16-16 with shots worth 21.0 each, Korea won the following two series.

It ultimately took three more series and a coaches' timeout to reach a decision after the games entered the deciders.
