In the Champions League, Galatasaray rallies late to tie 10-man FC Copenhagen at 2-2.

In a 2-2 draw with 10-man Copenhagen, Galatasaray made a statement in their Champions League comeback. The astonishing goal by Mohamed Elyounoussi put the Turkish champions down before Diogo Goncalves extended their deficit in the second half. Galatasaray gained an improbable point when Copenhagen's Elias Jelert received a red card and the game was transformed by goals from Sacha Boey and Tete.

Galatasaray dramatically earned a point against FC Copenhagen at home by scoring twice in the span of two minutes.
Galatasaray got off to a very strong start, with Okan Buruk's team controlling possession and playing aggressively in front of a boisterous home crowd. After seven minutes, Kamil Grabara made an incredible stop to keep Mauro Icardi from scoring. The 30-year-old Argentine shot from close range, but Grabara was able to extend an arm and maintain parity. After 17 minutes, Kerem Aturkoglu found space inside the penalty area and the hosts had another chance to take the lead, but he mishit his effort and it went wide.
Mohamed Elyounoussi's moment of pure wizardry allowed Copenhagen to surprise everyone by taking the lead after 35 minutes. Elyounoussi received the ball from Lukas Lerager in the box and controlled it with his chest before volleying it home.
Galatasaray constantly pushed men forward, and in the 58th minute Copenhagen took advantage and added a second goal. Birger Meling, who had plenty of room behind the Galatasaray backline, passed the ball to Diogo Goncalves, who slammed it home with his first attempt past Fernando Muslera.
Elias Jelert's second yellow card for a late challenge delivered Copenhagen a setback 15 minutes from the end.
In the 86th minute, Galatasaray scored their first goal thanks to a spectacular strike from Sacha Boey. The Frenchman received a feed from Tete and took a touch before blasting a shot past Grabara.
After gaining a point, Galatasaray scored again a minute later. This time, Tete converted from a supplier to a scorer by launching a rocket into the bottom corner from a distance.
Galatasaray's UEFA Champions League campaign got off to a less than ideal start, but after facing a 2-0 setback, this comeback will briefly feel like a victory.
