If there is no decision, England has won the three-match series 1-0. The first ODI was called off due to weather without a ball being bowled, while the second ODI saw Rehan Ahmed lead England to a 48-run victory.
Tuesday's third and final one-day international between England and Ireland in Bristol was called off due to rain, despite the home team's batsman Ben Duckett scoring his first century in a 50-over match.
A no-result at the Gloucestershire Cricket Stadium means that England won the three-match series 1-0. The first ODI was called off due to rain before any balls were bowled, while the second ODI saw Rehan Ahmed lead England to a 48-run victory.
When Ireland won the toss and decided to bowl, England's openers Phil Salt and Will Jacks got things going well by scoring 87 runs in total.
Duckett (107 not out) and captain Zak Crawley stepped up and put together a 101-run partnership off only 85 balls to send England past 200 in under 23 overs after the pair were quickly dismissed by Irish fast bowler Craig Young.
After Crawley left the game on 51, Young took his third wicket by having Sam Hain caught on 17, and the game was called due to rain with England on 280/4. Only a little over an hour later, play was suspended.
Today is a real disgrace. It was a terrific summer and we were working towards a strong score, so it was nice to win this honour," England's Jacks remarked after being awarded Player of the Series.
"Today, (Salt) made things simple for me because he got off to a fast start. It could have been a flying start if we could have gotten moving.
As it prepares to defend its championship at the 50-over World Cup in India later this month, England played this series. On Oct. 5, England plays New Zealand in the tournament's first game.
