The 2023–24 NBA season will begin on October 24 with a matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the NBA champion Denver Nuggets, setting up an early repeat of the Western Conference Finals from the previous season.
The NBA announced its full-season, team-by-team schedule on Thursday, and while some of it had already leaked over the previous few days, the early attention is on the playoff teams from the previous season.
The Lakers and Nuggets match will be broadcast nationwide, and before the game, which is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. ET, Denver players will receive their title rings. It will be followed by the Phoenix Suns' game against the Golden State Warriors, in which 12-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul of Golden State and three-time NBA All-Star Bradley Beal of Phoenix will make their new clubs debuts.
