New Delhi: The Indian cricket team is busy preparing for the Asia Cup 2023 and most of its players have reached Bangalore and started giving their fitness test in the camp. On the first day of the camp, senior players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya were tested and all the players cleared the yo-yo test.
Violation of contract rules: After passing the test, former captain Virat Kohli posted his score on social media, which is said to be a violation of the contract rules of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. The board officials objected to Virat Kohli regarding this and it is believed that some action can be taken against Virat Kohli as well.
Ensure compliance of privacy rules: According to media reports, the senior BCCI player said that players will have to follow the rules of privacy on any social media platform. He can post pictures related to him during training, but cannot update any of his reports and scores on social media. This is considered a breach of contract.
Special camp of the cricket team for 6 days: Let us tell you that the Indian cricket team is conducting a special camp for 6 days. The Yo-Yo test was conducted on the first day of this camp which started from August 24 in NCA. This test has been found to be very useful for improving fitness standards. Don't want to take any kind of risk with the team: The camp is being held once again to keep the players fully fit for the upcoming Asia Cup, the series against Australia and the World Cup. During this time, along with the blood test of the players, the whole body will also have to be checked. Apart from this, the trainers will test them on all the fitness parameters. If a player does not pass this test, he can be barred from playing, as the Indian team management does not want to take any risk with any player.
